Youth Spectacular at the Archdiocese of San Antonio

What is Youth Spectacular?

Youth Spectacular is our local Church’s major annual gathering for and with youth. Youth Spectacular is celebrated to evangelize, inspire, form and ignite the youth to become true missionary disciples of Jesus Christ, impelled by the Holy Spirit. The ultimate purpose of the Youth Spectacular is to transform our young Catholics into the driving force of the New Evangelization in their homes, their schools, parishes and communities.

Youth Spectacular 2019

Your presence at Youth Spectacular 2019: Seekers of Truth made all the difference! Thank you for accepting Archbishop Gustavo’s invitation to meet with the youth of our communities and provide for the space and time for teens to encounter and re-encounter Christ. You and your group of teens were part of over 1,200 participants that accepted the challenge of becoming life-long Seekers of Truth. This year's theme was based on Psalm 25:5 “Teach me to live according to your truth, for you are my God, who saves me. I always trust in you.”

The Youth Spectacular 2019 featured dynamic keynote speaker and author  Katie Prejean-McGrady and closed with a Spirit-filled concert by WAL. The event will included other fun-filled activities and mass with Archbishop Gustavo. We offered simultaneous translation equipment for Spanish-speakers who enjoyed the presentations. Sign-language interpretation was also provided.
