Textbook Financial Assistance

Thank you for your interest in applying for financial assistance for Basal Religious Education Textbooks made possible by the generous donors of the Archbishop’s Appeal.

If your application is approved, this fund will contribute a portion of the cost of your religious education textbooks. Please do not purchase materials first and then ask for reimbursement.

To receive assistance, the textbooks must appear on  the USCCB “Conformity Listing of Catechetical Texts and Series.” For the latest USCCB Conformity Listing, click here.

You will be notified of the approval status of your application within one month of the submission date. Invoices must be received by the Academy no later than 60 days from date of invoice. Otherwise, the Academy is not responsible for payment. The Academy will make a payment directly to the publisher for the amount awarded. The balance is the responsibility of the parish. The parish will be notified when payment is sent to the publisher. Shipping and handling costs are not payable by the AA grant.
