Textbook Financial Assistance
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEXTBOOKS IS MADE POSSIBLE BY THE GENEROUS DONORS OF THE ARCHBISHOP’S APPEAL.
Financial assistance for religious education texts and resource materials appearing on the USCCB's listing of Catechetical Texts and Series for parish religious education programs. A parish may apply for assistance for religious education texts every three years. Funding is awarded based on need.
If your application is approved, this fund will contribute a portion of the cost of your religious education textbooks. Please do not purchase materials first and then ask for reimbursement.
To receive assistance, the textbooks must appear on the USCCB “Conformity Listing of Catechetical Texts and Series.” For the latest USCCB Conformity Listing, click here.
You will be notified of the approval status of your application within one month of the submission date. Invoices must be received by the Institute no later than 60 days from date of invoice. Otherwise, the Institute is not responsible for payment. The Institute will make a payment directly to the publisher for the amount awarded. The balance is the responsibility of the parish. The parish will be notified when payment is sent to the publisher. Shipping and handling costs are not payable by the AA grant.
