Celebrating March as Women’s History Month, students from area Catholic schools were invited to attend St. Mary’s University School of Science, Engineering and Technology’s 5th annual Women’s History Month Luncheon. Students from Holy Cross of San Antonio, The Atonement Academy, Providence Catholic School and St. John Paul II Catholic High School were selected to attend the event based upon their exemplary performance in STEM subjects, particular math and science. The keynote address was given by St. Mary’s graduate Jennifer LaFoy, a licensed engineer, who offered her advice on preparing for life after college.
