St. Monica Catholic School partnered with Sky Cross to serve children in need during Catholic Schools Week. The school collected 265 reusable boxes full of hygiene products and other items such as art supplies and non-battery operated toys. Sky Cross will distribute the boxes to very poor children along the Texas-Mexico Border, including Saltillo, and Guaymas, Mexico in the Mexican interior. The non-profit organization was founded in 1995 by two of the parishioners at St. Monica Catholic Church; Mr. Terry Bliquez and his wife, Kathy.
