Last week, St. Gregory the Great Catholic School revealed a new school logo and announced the launch of a new football program.
The 11-man football program is offered to students in sixth through eighth grades. Practice will begin in August and the season will run through the 2016-2017 school year.
"Our mission is to provide opportunities for students to grow in all aspects of life: spiritually, mentally and as an individual in their community. Team sports are a great extracurricular activity and we are confident this program will enrich the academic lives of our students, as well as their fitness," said Principal Daniel Martinez.
St. Gregory the Great Catholic School opened in 1955 under the care of the Presentation Sisters. For more information about the school visit: http://www.stgregorysa.org/.
