Marshall Plan begins at Assumption Seminary

The Marshall Plan has been initiated at Assumption Seminary to involve the many Catholic groups and parishes supporting the seminary through prayer and work.

Assumption Seminary is the seminary for the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Seminarians are young men in formation that are from the community and once ordained will be of service to the Church. The community and the seminarians are called to form a unique bond in which both the seminarians and the community pray for the other. Prayer can take the form of manual labor, “Ora et Labora.” The community can participate in this type of prayer through maintenance and upkeep of the landscaping and physical grounds of the campus. Seminarians in turn will adopt those ministries and specifically pray for their intentions.
