Knowing their roles

A new pastors, administrators and parochial vicars workshop was held at the Mexican American Catholic College August 24-25 to give clergy in new assignments an overview of the administration of the archdiocese.

Presenters represented agencies and departments dealing with Archives, Human Resources, the Business Office, Risk Management, Tribunal, Annual Archbishop’s Appeal, Capital Campaign, Stewardship, Communications, Catholic Schools, Vocations and Seminarians, Pastoral Ministry, Office of Victim Assistance and Safe Environment, Diaconate, and Ongoing Formation of Clergy. Attendees also took a tour of the Pastoral Center.

Auxiliary Bishop Michael Boulette was present at the event for both days, and the gathering was organized by Father Jim Fischler, CICM, and the Office for Clergy.
