Guadalupe Home’s 15th Annual Fandango Under the Stars Fundraiser will be held Saturday

Guadalupe Home’s 15th Annual Fandango Under the Stars Fundraiser will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch at 13715 FM 1560 North in Helotes.

Guests will enjoy a barbecue dinner, dance to live country music provided by the Countrymen Band and bid on items in the live and silent auctions. Children will enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, face painters, balloon artists and a bouncy house. All proceeds raised will directly benefit the mothers and babies who live at Guadalupe Home.

Guadalupe Home, a program of Catholic Charities, provides a safe home and a second chance for homeless pregnant women and their babies. This program helps mothers become independent and better care for their children by providing them with childbirth and parenting education, nutritional classes, faith development, counseling and case management services. While staying at Guadalupe Home, each resident must be willing to either participate in an educational or job skills program or maintain employment.

This event is sponsored by Brian O’Neill, Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Shavano Family Practice. For more information on Guadalupe Home, Catholic Charities, or to purchase tickets, contact Patricia Vela at (210) 601-6109.
