Getting in person experience with religious life, going deeper in the discernment of consecrated life

Almost two dozen young women took part in the archdiocesan “Nun Run” on Sept. 28, to let them see different ways of living religious life.

Participants traveled with religious from six local orders to three different convents and community houses to share in meals, fellowship, conversations, and prayer.

Stops included the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, the Daughters of the Holy Spirit, and the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco. The young women heard presentations about the orders’ charism and history, mission, style of prayer, community life, formation process and vows, and unique aspects of each community.
