The archdiocese has been receiving inquiries concerning a Families Belong Together rally which will be occurring in San Antonio this Saturday, June 30, at 10 a.m. Similar events will be taking place in cities across the United States. The website promoting this event lists the site of the gathering as San Fernando Cathedral, which is incorrect. The archdiocese is not associated with or partnering with this rally. The actual location of the event will be Main Plaza, the large public space in front of the cathedral which is operated by the Main Plaza Conservancy. At times, organizations and groups which have held events in Main Plaza have listed San Fernando Cathedral as the site of their gatherings, which is inaccurate.
