August 15 Double Solar Illumination occurs right on schedule

The Double Solar Illumination which occurs every August 15 on the Feast of the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother took place as usual that evening at Mission Concepción. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event was not open to the public. It was livestreamed on the archdiocesan social media outlets with Father David Garcia, former director of the Old Spanish Missions, providing commentary.
