Antonian partners to stock Catholic Charities Food Pantry

Antonian College Preparatory High School, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Castle Hills partnered to stock the Catholic Charities Food Pantries at St. Stephen’s CARE Center, Guadalupe Community Center, and the Mobile Food Pantry on June 20.

The partners hosted a drive-thru food drop with volunteers accepting food donations of peanut butter, pasta, tuna, canned vegetables, canned fruit, oatmeal, and cereal in honor of fathers in the community during the Father’s Day weekend.

Catholic Charities’ President/CEO, J. Antonio Fernandez, said, “We are thrilled to engage our community in serving those who need us most. All of us are affected by the pandemic and we see that daily at all of our sites. Anything we can do as one community to serve our neighbors lifts the spirits of those giving and especially those receiving.”
