Bishop John W. Yanta Scholars — Funding a Legacy

Bishop Emeritus John W. Yanta is a name many people recognize. And they should, given his long list of accomplishments in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. In his 39 as a priest and 20 years as a bishop, he served as the CYO director, a founding member and executive director of Catholic Television San Antonio (CTSA), editor of Today’s Catholic, and served at many parishes blessed with a Catholic school including Holy Name, St. Ann, St. Pius X, Sacred Heart, St. Peter Prince of the Apostle and St. James the Apostle.
