What grade levels are eligible?
Students in grades K-5 - 12 (K-3 and K-4 are not eligible).
What schools are eligible?
All thirty-eight Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
Who can apply for Hope for the Future?
All families who want to send their children to a Catholic school.
Do I have to be Catholic to apply?
What is the dollar amount that a student may receive from Hope for the Future?
Elementary education: from $500 to $1500 per student, based on financial need analysis. Secondary education: from $500 to $2000 per student, based on financial need analysis.
Tuition assistance is awarded to families that show financial need based on their FACTS application analysis. The average applicant makes approx. $35,000.
If I receive funding or do not receive funding, will I have to re-apply again next year?
YES. Applications must be filed annually.
How much is the application fee?
$30 per family. The fee goes directly to FACTS Management to cover the cost of the tuition assistance application software. Hope for the Future does NOT benefit from the application fee. FACTS processes more than 4,000 applications for Hope for the Future per year.
How will I know if I am selected as a recipient for Hope for the Future tuition assistance?
Email-only notifications will be sent. You may also check with your child’s school for status information.
Do I have to provide my income information?
Yes. a complete application must contain verification of income.
What if I do not complete my application?
ONLY complete applications will be considered.
If awarded, can my school of choice accept the award?
No. Parents MUST login to their FACTS account and accept their own award. Schools may not complete this step for them.
