Topic: Catholics in the Public Square: Our Call to Participate

About the topic: How are we as Catholics called to respond to the challenges of the current election? Come discuss what our Church teaches us about our civic duties and how our call to active participation extends beyond November 3rd with our presenter, Emily Schumacher-Novak, Assistant Director for Education and Outreach at the Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

About the presenter: Emily Schumacher-Novak holds an M.A. in Systematic Theology from Marquette University. She worked in Catholic higher education before coming to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Emily now serves as the Assistant Director of Education and Outreach in the Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development at USCCB.
