Dr. Larry Hufford

Presenter: Dr. Larry Hufford

Topic: Children of the World in an Age of Globalization

Dr. Hufford will address the inadequacy of understanding globalization without a faith foundation. Young Catholics ought to be well-versed in Papal Encyclicals, Catholic Social Teaching, and the words of Pope John XXIII, Pope John Paul II, and Pope Francis as they relate to an understanding of globalization rooted in justice and charity. Dr. Hufford will introduce the Economy of Communion movement and show photographs of children taken in his work abroad as they relate to globalization.
