Respect Life Month: Mass with Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller, M.Sp.S.
Where: San Fernando Cathedral - 115 W. Main Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205
October is Respect Life Month
Each October the Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, and the first Sunday of October is observed as Respect Life Sunday. As Catholics, we are called to cherish, defend, and protect those who are most vulnerable, from the beginning of life to its end, and at every point in between. During the month of October, the Church asks us to reflect more deeply on the dignity of every human life, and, like St. Joseph, protect the lives of everyone around us, especially when they are vulnerable or threatened.
2021–2022 Archdiocesan Respect Life Calendar of Activities
This calendar of activities reflects how the Archdiocese of San Antonio will put into action the Respect Life program developed by the USCCB between August 2021 and September 2022. I invite you to consider its content as you and your community develop your Respect Life parish program this year.
May the example and constant intercession of St. Joseph guide us in our efforts to cherish, protect, and defend human life year-round.
Celebrate Respect Life Month with the Archdiocese of San Antonio at a Life-themed Mass in October.
