Producer/Production Technician- CTSA

The Archdiocese of San Antonio-Catholic Television Station (CTSA) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Producer/Production Technician.  The Producer Tech is responsible to oversee each assigned project from conception to completion and may also be involved in the marketing and distribution process.  Producer will work closely with directors and other production staff; arrange funding for each project and be responsible for keeping the production within the allocated budget.

Tasks include: Reading, researching and assessing ideas and finished scripts; securing scripts that have been approved by the proper channels for production; building and developing a network of contacts; organizing shooting schedules - dependent on the type of producer and availability of support staff; monitoring the progress of the project from production to post production; bringing the finished production on-time to meet set deadlines.

Candidates must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge of Adobe Create Suite Production Premium software preferred- specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore and Adobe Audition.
