Parish Life Liaison- Department of Pastoral Ministries

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Parish Life Liaison.  The Parish Life Liaison will assist designated parishes in the Archdiocese in working toward the Mutually Shared Vision for discipleship and leadership and facilitate a plan of action to respond to the identified needs of the parish utilizing parish, deanery, and diocesan resources. The Parish Life Liaison will work with the pastors, deans, staff, councils, pastoral leaders, and the people of God in parishes to assess and discern the pastoral needs of the community.

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Pastoral Ministry, or related field with a Masters preferred; minimum of three years experience in diocesan or parish pastoral ministry setting; excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; and written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.  Candidate must also be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church; knowledge of Catholic Church teachings; sensitive to multi-cultural reality of the Archdiocese; committed to ongoing formation in ministry and spiritual development; and willingness to work flexible schedule.
