Coordinator for Campus Ministry
The Coordinator for Campus Ministry is responsible for developing, sustaining and expanding missionary initiatives throughout the eleven secular campuses within the Archdiocese of San Antonio as requested by the Director. The coordinator will work directly with the Director of Campus Ministry in creating and implementing a comprehensive program that will help those students who have never met Christ to encounter Him, that those who have met Him may grow in their relationship with Him and to equip those who follow Christ so that they can become apostles at their campuses. Initiative and creativity are required to adapt, create and implement programs that seek to be most effective.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Theology, Pastoral Ministry and/or related field. Two-five years of missionary experience (preferably in FOCUS). A burning missionary zeal and fidelity to the Catholic Church. Strong interpersonal skills are needed for an effective pastoral de conjunto, both in person and by phone, with a high degree of professionalism. Self-motivated and self-managed individual; must be a self-starter. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments in an effective manner. Must be willing to work regularly during evenings and weekends and have a very flexible schedule. A bilingual candidate preferred.
