Facilities Manager- Holy Trinity Catholic Church

Holy Trinity Catholic Church is currently seeking a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation and scheduling of all facilities and maintenance of grounds. Some job responsibilities for this position include to schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs for facilities with vendors; supervise maintenance staff and schedule work as needed; determine and coordinate use of furniture to be arranged for functions; order all supplies and equipment needed to maintain, operate, and repair facilities and grounds within budget; schedule personnel (security, cleanup, etc.) for all activities at parish hall and meeting rooms; and meet with individuals and couples to plan private parties, wedding receptions, and other events to be scheduled in parish hall. Other duties include to prepare contracts, explain rules for renting facility, and serve as liaison between renter and Parish; act as Safety Coordinator for the parish; and be able to integrate personal vision with total Parish Mission Statement.

Candidates must have a high school diploma; minimum five years related experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters; possess good interpersonal and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and preferred knowledge of Facility Scheduling Computer program; and Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

This person will primarily staff the reception desk, welcome parishioners and guests, and direct the function and fluidity of the office. Part Time Spanish Choir Music Director- St. Helena Catholic Church

Associate Director- Office of Youth Ministry

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking an innovative, creative, bicultural and bilingual candidate for the position of Associate Director for the Office of Youth Ministry. The responsibilities of this position include planning, coordinating, and providing comprehensive youth ministry training for youth ministry leaders in parishes, schools, and other agencies of the Archdiocese- exploring new and developing existing programs; planning Archdiocesan-wide events for youth; consulting with parish staffs; and collaborating closely with the pastoral offices of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. The ideal applicant has experience in Pastoral Juvenil Hispana so as to be able to coordinate initiatives of the OYM focusing on Hispanic youth and their families.

The qualified candidate must be a practicing Roman Catholic and have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree- Master's Degree preferred- in Theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry, or related field; at least three years experience in a diocesan or parish setting; good verbal and written skills in both English and Spanish; and dynamic presentation skills. The applicant should have knowledge and experience successfully implementing comprehensive Youth Ministry, mindful of adolescent catechesis and Confirmation preparation. Occasional night and weekend work is required.
