is the chief catechist in this Archdiocese. The Archdiocesan Catechetical Center is entrusted with assisting in the organization and implementation of formal catechesis. The Director and staff of the Archdiocesan Catechetical Center serve the people of the Archdiocese both from their offices in the Pastoral Center and in person by providing "on-site" services to parishes and Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese. The center has dedicated and talented staff to address the catechetical needs of the Archdiocese.

,Director of the Catechetical Center, has been involved in catechetics on the parish and diocesan levels for more than 20 years, having served as a parish DRE and Catechetical Consultant for the Archdiocese of Washington and diocesan director of faith formation of the Diocese of Fargo, ND, and Bridgeport, CT. She has also served as an adjunct professor for catechetics at the University of Dallas, as a catechetical consultant to several southwestern dioceses and, recently as the director of Adult Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Gloria holds a MA in Religious Studies and a Pontifical Catechetical Diploma from the Notre Dame Institute of Arlington, VA.

, Consultant for the Media Resource Center, Catechetical Center staff member Since 1991, has a beautiful voice and is always willing to sing for prayer services and Pastoral Center liturgies. Cherryl is an avid Spurs fan and the best source for up-to-date information about the team each season. Cherryl, wife and mother, is actively involved in ministry at her parish, St. Gerard in San Antonio. As consultant for parish and school religious education media needs, she manages a lending library of videos, DVDs, audio tapes, slides and CDs as well as the Archdiocesan Catechetical Center print library of catechetical texts. Cherryl also provides training in the best use of audio-visuals for parish, school and deanery religious education groups.

, Administrative Assistant is beginning her second year as a member of the Catechetical Center staff. As Administrative Assistant, Rebekah makes “first contact” in receiving phone calls and greeting visitors. Having worked in the corporate world, she is well suited to the busy pace of the Catechetical Center and its many concurrent activities, workshops and courses. Rebekah, her husband and four children are life-long San Antonians. She once played baseball and track in CYO; now she is an enthusiastic supporter of her sons at their football games. Rebekah is always ready to meet and serve the catechetical leaders and catechists of the Archdiocese.
