Mission
The Office for Religious works in collaboration with the Vicar for Clergy and is responsible for the pastoral care of the women and men religious residing in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Texas. The director for the office acts as the liaison for Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller in relationship to the religious communities. In various ways the Office for Religious promotes activities and events that support consecrated life and daily living and ministering. The Office for Religious endeavors to support the 53 women religious communities, the 28 men religious communities and 8 groups of secular institutes or other associations in the Archdiocese.
