While the Archdiocesan goal for the 2012 Archbishop’s Appeal campaign has increased to $3,750,000; I encourage you to focus on setting a goal to increase the number of those in your parish who participate in the Appeal. As pastors and lay leaders, we must remind our people that it is through sacrifice and service that we become more like Christ. People don’t give to a need; they have a need to give.

In 2011 thanks to the generosity of Appeal Donors and the hard work of Pastors and Appeal Coordinators we were able to meet the $3.5 million goal and fully fund the ministries supported by the 2011 Appeal.
